OCIMF’s Offshore vessel management and self assessment Programme  was introduced in 2012. as a tool to help operators of offshore vessels to assess, measure and improve their management systems. These systems encompass all activities undertaken by the company, including technical, operational, personnel and HSE, both on board and ashore.

These programs furnish companies with a framework to enhance and assess their safety management systems, thereby facilitating performance improvement and the attainment of elevated safety and pollution prevention standards.

We conduct a thorough review of the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) procedures and organizational culture, identifying gaps, and subsequently redesigning and developing the current SMS to address these gaps and enhance overall effectiveness.

Attaining a favorable ranking in the OCIMF/SIRE Database is crucial for independent tanker vessel owners, ensuring continued vessel employment.

Our services are geared towards the successful completion of Oil Major and CDI inspections. We assist ship staff in identifying gaps in shipboard operational standards, mitigating and eliminating the risk of substandard operations.

Any identified weak points are promptly addressed through immediate actions, and our attending superintendent provides necessary guidance and training.

Additionally, our services encompass assisting Owners in responding to negative observations following a SIRE Vetting/CDI, ensuring a comprehensive and effective resolution.
