ISM Audit

The International Safety Management Code (ISM) mandates that Shipping Companies establish procedures for conducting internal and external audits to verify compliance with the Safety Management System, both on the ship and within the shore organization.

Our role involves supporting ship-owners in the execution of internal audits, assessing the efficacy of their systems and ensuring alignment with the documented requirements of the Safety Management System.

ISPS Audits

The International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS) stipulate that Shipping Companies must establish procedures for conducting both internal and external audits to verify adherence to the Ship Security Plan.

At Varenya Maritime, we excel in performing ISPS internal audits, conducted both on board operator vessels and on their premises. Our commitment lies in ensuring a meticulous and comprehensive assessment to guarantee that the ship is diligently following the documented requirements outlined in the Ship Security Plan.

Sailing Navigational audits

Navigational audits have become a mandatory facet of the Tanker Management and Self-Assessment (TMSA) framework, and their prevalence is expanding to encompass other maritime sectors such as bulk carriers and diverse vessels.

These audits are imperative for verifying the Safety of Navigation, ensuring the diligent and uniform application of navigational practices, and upholding bridge procedures in strict accordance with regulatory mandates and industry standards. The emphasis lies on maintaining a rigorous commitment to safety and adherence to the highest navigational standards across diverse maritime trades.
